1 Year of Forever Moments

A year ago, this started with a simple idea: that we could capture special moments onchain, and that appreciation should flow directly between people. Not through platforms — but through ownership. What’s been built over the last year isn’t just a product. It’s a collection of real moments: people capturing their lives, their travels, their creativity, their inside jokes, their communities. Small, personal things — that start to mean something much bigger when you look back at them. There’s something special about scrolling through your own moments. It’s not just content. It’s memory. It’s time. It’s proof you were there. And over time, it becomes something you don’t want to lose. One of the visions from the beginning was this: people across the world contributing to the same collection. Shared contexts. Shared moments. A collective memory. We’ve seen early signs of it — collections like Universal Pints, Bridges of the World, LUKSO Memes. But it hasn’t fully clicked yet. I still believe it will. Moments from events, cities, movements — people contributing to something bigger than themselves. That’s where this gets really interesting. This past year has also been a learning ground. Building onchain. Designing with new primitives. Figuring out what should live onchain and what shouldn’t. Building with AI. It’s messy, fast-moving, and constantly changing. But that’s what makes it exciting. Year 1 was about proving this can exist. Year 2 is about making it easier, clearer, and more powerful — so more people can participate, create, and find meaning in what they capture.
